DAY 5. B&W. driving .by rozComment by Alicia: Roz - OMG - I love this. It has a totally urban sci-fi feel to it. The signs make it even more interesting - the whole photo is riveting. Ali's face is indeed the anchor for all the other activities - and as a whole the image doesn't seem busy at all. Love it! |

DAY 5. B&W. traffic ..by rozComment by nixter: I really like this, Roz. I like it because there appears to be no connection, and the viewer can make up their own mind of what's happening. Things don't always have to be plain and obvious, it's good to study a shot and ponder and discover. Linger a little and let it all soak in! ali has a great profile BTW, you got yourself a great model there. :) |

DAY 5. B&W. traffic ..by rozComment by sevilduvarci: this version looks quite interesting, the brightness and slight blurry look give this picture a dreamy kind of feel. it feels like the background is a vision in her dream while she's daydreaming. |

DAY 5. B&W. driving .by rozComment by sevilduvarci: i love the processing in this one, roz. the composition is awesome and the high contrast, grainy look is adding a fantastic mood to this shot. really well-done. |

DAY 3. B&W. gums with an added twist..by rozComment by dsterner: "did an overlay using another photograph that i took of the same trees at the same time"
Very cool - these side challenges are great for experimenting. I appreciate your processing steps - I am keeping notes of the stuff I want to try. |

DAY 5. B&W. driving .by rozComment by krnodil: This is great - at first you think you know what you're looking at, and then you do a double take and look again. Very nice range of tones and the composition is great, with the girl's face off to the side looking inward on the rest of the image. A busy composition, but it suits the subject matter, and the face on the side anchors it all despite the busyness. This is just a wonderfully imaginative composite and done very well IMO. |
