works for me! looks like 2 hands holding the sun...
id like it better if the bottom of the leaves were pure black and the top of the picture was pure white. |

Oh, I think the grain ADDS to the photo! It's very subtle, but it gives it such a beautiful effect. It looks very artistically intentional, Roz. I LOVE that sun in the background. I think this would make an awesome framed print!

| This is really cool, Roz. It's like the story of the grasshopper, watching the sun come up between the leaves and grasses... my imagination is a little out of control this morning. Very pretty. I like it. |

well I hope you managed to get some sleep after yesterdays ramblings :-)
only joking, I appreciated all your comments that you left me.

anyway, i like silhouette pictures.
not just because I now know how to spell the word :-)
but because they look so simple, yet are quite difficult to capture properly.
you've done great in this one, with the back lighting still visible and the overall composition.
the grain is very effective too.

A vey simple image, that just works for me.....
I am pleased you went back and worked on it to get this very pleasing result.....
It almost looks like a soft silhouette of an angel on top of the leaf....
