day 18. january 08. where i live. sunriseby rozComment by shutterpuppy: Light really interesting here. The way the light is concentrated in to the upper right makes it seem almost like a lit movie set, rather than a natural sunset. Love the colors, especially that deep, cold blue. |

Not on the fact that you got your second highest score, or on the fact that you got your first ever blue ribbon - these are great in themselves - but my congratulations are for the fact that you have produced a picture of such jaw dropping brilliance that it could be shown anywhere in the world and alongside the work of any photographer in the world and it would not look out of place
Stunning.....simply stunning and it could not have happened to a nicer person |

day 22. january 08. where i live. 3 kangaroosby rozComment by Alicia: Clearly, they are looking right at you. I think you should lock up Katee and belly-scoot through the tall grass until you can get closer.
Very sweet shot, Roz. Thanks for sharing these excellent type of captures with us.
And I hope you're having a blast away from home!! Let's see some photos! |

day 22. january 08. where i live. 3 kangaroosby rozComment by Mr_Pants: If I'd taken this picture, I would probably have framed very closely on the 'roos. That would have been a mistake, though, as your composition and framing here is infinitely more rewarding. The presence of the animals is not shouted out by this photo, rather it is suggested at first and when the eye finally alights on them, there is a great sense of satisfaction and reward. The context around the kangaroos is great, the lighting is wonderful and I particularly adore the way that the three heads almost seem to be on the same line. |
