 i'd just finished processing a pelican composite for the overlay side challenge, and elle came home from work .. we were talking in the computer room and she started mucking around with katee .. they looked so cute i had to take a photograph ..
ali, my daughter, taught katee to do a high five and elle was getting her to do it when i took the photograph ..

this is the pelican image i'd just finished .. it took me a long long time .. its a combination of 8 photographs plus textures ..

Before reading your comments I thought there is no way that dog is doing a high five. I guess I was wrong! Love the candid feel of this and the way that Elle is looking at Katee.

roz, you have such a wonderful way of bringing your subjects out. Elle and Katee just pop out of this like nothing else is on the page, and yet there's a whole world behind them telling the story of their lives. Great 'slice of life' shot.
