Interesting. The fact that you took this in the snow is a neat idea. However, you need just a bit more lighting on the snow to bring that fact out. Possibly a flashlight lying on top of the snow facing the basket? I like the colours on the trimmings, very vidid. I wish colour of the basket was a bit more so. The composition leaves some to be desired. It feels static and boxed in.

Very "comfy" shot. Makes me feel like curling up in front of a fire with a mug of hot chocolate. The picture seems to be just a bit faded, but It may just be the morning snowy haze, I can't tell. Would be better if it was a bit crisper. Still, a good shot.

what a peaceful, simple shot. the lack of colour and the scene itself give a sense of emptiness; absolutely simplicity.

very nice, you might have shot more to the right of the left to either include more to the right of the far right tree or to crop in on it to lose the right edge which is about the only thing that distracts me in this otherwise tranquil scene. Nice exposure, detail, clarity. but maybr too much unsharp mask (if it was used if not, sorry) It would have look nicer left alone or softened by a little gausian blur.

Not a bad shot, but it could be better. While numerous shapes are present it just doesn't shout shape to me. The crop is too tight which makes it feel cramped. Maybe a closer more dramatic angle would be better, or more negative space with basket placement following the rule of thirds.

Greetings from the Critique Club

Definitely meets the challenge topic, well composed.

There have been a number of things pointed out by the commentors.

As odd as it sounds, it's just a tad soft. I know, this is a soft focus challenge, but as much as there is here it causes the image to be lost.

If the colours, esp. of the lipstick had been more pronounced I think this much "fogging" could have worked. For this level of soft the image behind must be very strong.

I'm also not sure about the colour gradiation of the lipstick, the orange hues just aren't working.

I think this is a very good portrait. If you can go back to the original and not loose the colours (assuming they are there) I would suspect a top notch photo.

I hope this helps.
