Probably because I was focusing on the SOL I missed this. Was this handheld? if so amazingly sharp for such a slow shutter speed.

I guess this is a great reason for the filters since you didn't like the lack of hotness in the shot. It is wonderful with the oranges, reds and yellows.

This is a very interesting photo and perspective on the shoreline. The red factory/plant really draws the eyes in and all of the spiky things point to the plant. If there was a plant challenge would a close up of this plant be a DQ? lol!
