Afternoon on a mountain lakeby LevTComment by bob350: My favorite of the batch. Sparkling water, interesting pier, tonal variations of the progressively more distant hills all work well together. Makes me want to be there. |

Afternoon on a mountain lakeby LevTComment by mariuca: Voted already and going back to make some notes.
The entire image is like a little jewel - we have layers of foggy mountains, a sparkling late, a beautiful composition, nice silhouettes ... yet... is it deja vu somehow? I wish I take a shot like this so, what else do I want?

Dual wieldingby LevTComment by mariuca: I voted already but came back to marvel at the bravery of taking such cameras on the beach. Is there a secret to keep wind and sand away from all little crevices?
I ruined two cameras on Mexico's beaches. |

Beach shopping by LevTComment by LevT: Originally posted by mariuca: Oh Lev, how do you get this great crispness when you reduce an image and without auras. |
I don't know Mariuca, I don't do anything fancy, just a straightforward "resize" in Photoshop. I don;t sharpen my images neither before nor after resizing. Perhaps, it's just a good sharp lens :) |
