Unusual black and white, would have prefered more detail in the highlights. There is too much contrast in this shot for my taste, meaning that shadow and highlight detail is lost. Very noisy. Ultimatedly not enough here to sustain my interest.

Keeps me tied to the center (pardon the pun). Great idea and execution, If somehow you could have blurred the top of the peg so that just the knot was in focus I think this would have done better. Maybe a small amout of gaussian blur could have acheived that effect, at least the very top of the peg where there is a lot of cracks and hammer marks that seem to stand out.

decent image but lacks a bit of interest for me. You used the rule of thirds which i think works well, and it is a good sihouette.. but it stops there... it is just a silhouette, it doesn't encourage me to look longer, it doesn't produce a feel for me. I am not sure what whould help this image. perhaps it is too cut and dry.. like the whole plant is included in the picture.. perhaps if just the leaves were in the image, or hmm i am not sure what to say. it is a decent image though, and nice exposure in the strong sunlight.

The lions are never out when I visit the zoo. Unusual pose for the big cat. I think I might like it better in color, but this still a good shot. 10
