 I never knew lions climbed trees, let alone slept in them. This is one of those things I've never seen before and will probably never see again. Hope you agree that's serendipity.

The lions are never out when I visit the zoo. Unusual pose for the big cat. I think I might like it better in color, but this still a good shot. 10

The lion and his/her pose is marvelous. Lighting on the paw, tail, and back (a bit hot) works very well.

Unfortunately the sky area is so bright it detracts a lot. The out of focus line on the bottom (probably the fence) is also a problem.

Sorry, I don't see how it meets the challenge. The caption might provide context that you happened to be somewhere and were able to get this shot, but if that's the challenge criterion, couldn't ANY picture meet the challenge?

Awww...what a sweet shot. I think I would crop just enough off the bottom to get rid of the wire. It would lose just a tip of the tail, but I think it would help the photo. Still...a very nice shot.

Excellent shot. The clarity and focus are great. I don't know if I like the color, it's neither B&W, sepia or true color. However, it does seem to go with the picture quite well.
