Savannahby L1Comment by photokariangel: the story is far more important then the quality by far, still good to see kids doing the right thing in a tough situation to handle. cute little chlid by the way too! |

Focusby L1Comment by SandyP: Laurie!! WAY TO GO!! This is awesome! That old timey, nostalgic finish makes it absolutely PERFECT! Congratulations on an honorable mention! I wish it had a ribbon under it, but 4th place is mighty fine! :)

Savannahby L1Comment by Art Roflmao: Originally posted by Laurie: P.S. I took this with a crappy little HP Photosmart 320 we have here at work, so the quality is crapola...but the story to me is more important than the technicals, I think. ;) |
I agree. So let me critique the story: I think it lacks the typical stereotyping we have come to expect. It could also use a tad more drama. How about this - the boy is an inner city gang member and after becoming a father, he tries to get out but they won't let him. He just has to pull off one last "job" to secure the money for him and Rosita to run away together. :P
Seriously - I am loving your project - the photos and the stories. |

Samariaby L1Comment by Budya: This is such a sad story. The cycle of overfeeding is heartbreaking. It probably will be very hard to get her to take the pacifier now that she is used to being fed all the time. |
