Feeding Timeby kevrobertsonComment: The yellow and blue contrasts nicely - makes for a cartoony feel. Fun - especially those bee wings. The flowers and bee work well for the topic - tells something about plant life, even if the feel is more science fiction than fact! You may find this radical color manipulation to be unpopular with voters. I wish the plants were sharper. I might crop a bit on the top so the viewer's eyes don't travel up there for too long. |

Something to Studyby digistouneComment: High key works nicely with the test tube and flask - gives a very "steril scientific" feel. The red of the rose leaves stands out nicely. I wish the leaves in the magnifing glass were lit and focused to show a deeper color and detail of texture - as is we cannot see those leaves much better than the ones behind. Nice subject and composition tho' |

"Tortured Existance" A beachside Mangroveby NodeComment: This is a very busy image. Lots of colors and textures that compete for your eyes attention. Your title points to the twisting bark - perhaps a composition without the new growth would be better? Or if you wish us to look at the green of the new leaves, perhaps burning in the bark behind them or blurring the background a bit? |

Decayby FanderComment: An interesting subject - stands out amid all these flowers and vivid greens. I wish all the details on the leaf were clearer, And I'm not sure about the composition that crops the leaf slightly on the right - perhaps crop more or include the whole leaf - as is it is not very interesting. I do like the gray background - the textural deails at the top left as a bit distracting - perhaps a little burning (more burning than you've done) or some spot editing. I do like the comination of the bright orange of the leaf and the dark gray of the background. |

Sunrise!by dwterryComment: These a great colors, and the close composition empashises them as does the contract with the vivid blue sky. You've got some nice detail about halfway up the petals, but the tips of the petals aren't as sharp - a greater DOF would make everything crisp - I'd also skip the frame - it is kinda neat, but the picture is even better. |

On the Road Againby tyt2000Comment: I thought this was jjbeguin for sure! This is a deceptively simple looking photo - but you've carefully captured all those dark tones and the scattering of highlights on the stones, and that wonderful motion of the foot. I agree that it should have ribboned. |

Smell My Feetby crabappl3Comment: This is a great shot - I like the detailed texture in the bottom of the foot. I like the soft hues of brown yellow and green that give a very natural relaxed feel. I like the nice touch of the distinct geenery frmaing the bottom of the picture. |

Tally Ho!by Spanish_GreaseComment: This is a very funny idea, and a great composition and title! I'd like to see a bit better focus and light to show more details and texture and contrast. |

Follow The Yellow Brick Roadby SammieComment: I like the nostalgic soft focus you used. I like the composition, but think it would be more thematic if the road extended in front of her rather than to the side. The sunshine in bottom right corner feels a bit random - wish it were on more of the frame, but it does catch the toes of the shoes and make them sparkle. |
