Pearlsby neehaiComment: A lovely collection of textures and shades of white. I wish there were more of a point of focus - my eyes keep traveling around the perls without having any point in the composition as a destination. |

Mumbai Morningby GabrialgiacComment: I like the composition here - the chaotic line of birds, the arrow shape of the wake leading to the floating dock. I like all the shades of blue and green and the difuse light. Not quite how I pictured the challenge tho' - Also wish I could see more detail in the objects, I find myself squinting (and yes! I did just go to the eye doctor so it is not my glasses!) |

Ice Cool Apple Whiteby wes1972ukComment: I particularly like the texture in the ice! The light shining on the front of the apple seems much warmer - yellower - than the backlight, and the contrast is distracting. |

Tainted Loveby t_onlineComment: Well done to catch "plagiarize" in the circle AND have good focus on the rest of the page - it is a fine tribute, a well executed photo, and a nice twist. Wish the background were white or black and not woodgrain, but as is it works okay and is not particularly distracting. 8 |

Guilt by Associationby davidbedardComment: I was going to try doing this with our cats but I didn't even try - my husband said it couldn't be done. And what a great job YOU have done! The cat has the perfect expression on its face, and the reflections of the tree in the ornament are good, and I don't see you or the camera in there. This must have been quite difficult to achieve. Congratulations! |

A warm fuzzy teddy bear hug feelingby nicolepComment: I like the soft focus - makes the bears seem even softer. I think a dark, even black background would work better - make the bear stand out. And as this is a "yellow" competition you could play wioth hue or saturation to make the bears a bit more yellow. |

This Wonderful Place I Goby Ricky CleaveComment: I truely like this idea - the bright yellow of the swing seat transports our eyes the way it transports you to "this wonderful place" up in the air. Ilike the chain coming don from the top corner adn the swing seat from the bottom, meeting right on that thirds line. I think it would work much better if the chain stood out better from the background. Right now it blends in so that you eye has to fight to see it. You could try to light the woodchips to brighten them - or photoshop a selection afterward. |

Splish Splash Sploshby L1Comment: Nice desaturation - the bright yellow umbrella on a gray day - and everything but the umbrella IS gray. I wish there were more splashing in the puddle and the umbrella were a little sharper. I like the composition with the umbrella filling the upper right corner. 6 |

Happy Side Up by typologicComment: Simple composition, great yellow color, great lighting. I like the little smilie face touch! 8 |
