Freshly Squeezed by TechoComment: I am very impressed with this image! You knew what you wanted, and nailed the target in choice of subject, presentation, and skill in the shoot. It very much deserves to be one of the highest scoring images in the DPC files. Bravo! |

Passionateby TCGuruComment: Exquisite! This shot made me think of 1943, and the hand retouched or drawn pin-up posters that the men put at their stations during the war. Perfect lighting, smoothness of texture, great colors, and YOU! |

All in a rowby bennettjamieComment: These are presented very nicely in this shot. The colors look good with the excellent bokeh in the background and the blooms look like they are just stacked on each other. The DOF brings the view right into the sharp ones in the foreground.
Good to see that you are getting back out after the medical ordeal, and posting some new images to share. Hugs for ya. |

Day 17 - Admiringby wickee_oneComment: You have the makings of a true gem of an image in this one. Crop to portrait, 3/2 ratio, from the top to just below the hands, then vignette the corners, and last soften the inner edge of the vignette. I tried the crop with my hands, and the "wow factor" is there. Great capture. It's good that you saw the moment and acted. |

Day 17 - Cold as Iceby KenComment: That's amazing,,,, and beautiful. You put some effort into getting this to share. It's appreciated.
The only thing that I see that could make the shot a little better would be to dodge the lighthouse a little to help make it more of a focal point in the overall scene.
Many of my after sunset shots are among my favs because of the beautiful light of the afterglow. |

Just what I needby AliciaComment: There is actually a lot of work in making even a pair of inexpensive earrings. I find it interesting that the row of little "blingers" around the edge came out looking like a bunch of little eyeballs. Good even exposure of the item to show the details so well. |

Blizzard by FrostyPawsComment: Wow! It looks like a post card scene with a row of parked cars across the foreground. This is one of the better captures of the "winter vibe" that I have seen. It combines the beauty of the snowy day with the reality of having to struggle from place to place in it.
It was about 80 F and sunny here today. I don't miss snow days much at all. |

Cubist Reflectionsby scarbrdComment: This image makes light do stuff!
I'm surprised that no one has made any comments since the challenge ended. I didn't vote, but I did like this shot a lot while browsing thru the challenge images.
There is a nice "dragon" heading down the left edge of the reflected buildings. |

Bank Shot, Side Railby GeneralEComment: I see that you were thinking about the ball reflecting off the rail as a reflection. Good idea, but it didn't reflect in the voting, as most voters were looking for light reflections, and missed the reflection connection. : ) for being a thinker! |
