i had to go and pick my daughter ali up from the train station which is a 40 minute drive from home because she'd got a flat tyre in her own car and i was getting it fixed for her when she was at work ..
on the drive there i was taking photographs without looking thru the viewfinder .. i've never done this before .. i'm also using the camera flash a lot and learning about the different effects you can get with different aperture and shutter speeds .. this was taken using the flash .. just pulling in to park ..

Love the perspective on this. I don't believe I have ever looked out of a car at that angle, while maybe when I was really young. This has a very surreal affect to it. Lighting is perfect!

You got an interesting end product from your wanton flashing away. It seems odd to see the windshield frame on the right, and next to the wheel.

I do that alot too, take pics without looking and see how they turn out. This is great, I like the PP on it.

I saw this last night, but was about to fall in to a coma from fatigue so I couldn't comment.

Totally love the process here, Roz! The flower on the left is just amazing and gives this a surreal, whimsical feel. Awesome perspective, too. The whole thing is good.

I was taking shots without using the viewfinder yesterday! I wanted to get some action shots of Lucy and it required me to hold my camera very low (i was sitting) i actually had some pretty nice shots!! I love the dramatic sky and almost metallic coloring in this!

Really interesting point of view. Lots of things to look at like the flower, bridge, black steering wheel, ominous sky, very funky!

Your processing here just gives it such a neat feel. I think having the flash inside and natural light outside creates a nice separation between the two that really makes this surreal.

I can't put my finger on exactly what I like, but this is really great. I like how the smudginess of the clouds contrasts the sharpness of the interior of the car.
