If the black guy in the middle is begging and being ignored, then this meets the challenge perfectly - the only issue is that it took me a while to figure it out because at first I thought he was just walking along with a coffee cup like the guy to his left. Then it didn't make sense.

But I'm there now :- )

Wonderful crowd scene - not just a few bodies around him, but stretching down out of sight, and across the other side of the road as well.

This has got lot's of really good elements to it - great crop, wonderful mix of expressions, conveys the hustle and bustle of a major city superbly - the only downsides are 1) a little bit noisy (but not a big issue) and 2) the guy just doesn't quite stand out enough for me, at first glance he is part of the crowd, rather than aolne in it.

Otherwise really good shot.

Fit's the challenge nicely, but the big black area to her right kind of swamps the picture a bit. In an ideal world she would have been off centre to the right of the picture - but hey :- )

Nice capture - but by definition this calf cant be 'alone in a crowd' and 'seperated from the herd' . . they are almost opposites.

But hey - as I say , nice capture, good title, well spotted.

Love the shot ! great lighting, punchy colours on the dress, nice lighting in the sky.

On the other hand I struggle with the concept that she is in a crowd - although out of fairness, I could imagine a crowd gathering pretty quickly : - )

Fit's the challenge idea well - I'm not sure about the crop though.
I think I might have preferred to see it her further back so that you can more clearly see the people flowing around her.
