Challenge: Alone In A Crowd (Basic Editing)

It was vaccination day on my parents farm. The herd is run one by one through a metal passageway where they can be vaccinated and checked for pregnancy. I'll probably get some DNMC comments because you can't see the other cows, but to me this fit the theme exactly because cows are such herd animals that you generally can't tell them apart and for 60 seconds or so once a year each one becomes an individual in order to get medical care. It's not a great pic, but I was playing with my new camera and haven't submitted in a while so I figured what the heck.
Cropped, resized, increase midtone contrast, levels (don't really know how to use levels, but was trying to tone down white on nose a bit), bumped up saturation slightly, neatimage (was taking at 1600 b/c it was dim and lots of movement - couldn't completely get rid of noise), sharpen. Would have liked to spot edit a bit, but it was a basic challenge so oh well. |

| Nice composition and technique, but doesn't say 'alone in a crowd' to me. So, I'm giving it a 6. If the theme matched, it would get a 9 from me! Amazing pic! |

Nice capture - but by definition this calf cant be 'alone in a crowd' and 'seperated from the herd' . . they are almost opposites.
But hey - as I say , nice capture, good title, well spotted. |
