I get the impression that the taller one on the right is the leader and is snubbing the other bird with her nose in the air posture. I might have cropped out the far shoreline, but that would make the shot too wide. . .

I don't blame them. Only another Muscovy would find him attractive! If you've got the detail I'd go for a tighter crop; the goose looks particularly haughty and I'd love to see that better.

Try processing with some curves to bring out some of the darker areas.
