A Long Ride Homeby geinafetsComment: the deep tones, the scuffed and dirty window, the one eye visible, the other not, the downward look, and the low placement of the face - these components all together give the image a very dark and sad feel |

Catch of the Yearby JonathanJComment: i like the intensity of the facial expressions and the dynamic colors - it is just unfortunate that guy in the background is there so you could not crop it tighter and get him out of the scene |

Yosemite in the Fallby TDCollinsComment: one of the most majestic valleys in the world
i like the choice of wide crop to show the dynamic scene, but the light in this scene seems a bit too subdued - so that the trees and cliffs seems to meld together too much - in addition, the image doesn't quite seem sharp in focus throughout and the colors are a bit understated for such a dramatic location |

Bradley Lake Wyomingby RefocusedComment: a postcard like scene - i wonder about the choice of crop and composition though - the very far left section of the image doesn't seem to add much (especially the rock in the extreme lower left) - i wonder if setting up slightly to the right of your position could have emphasized the mountains even further
i like the use of the log on the right to draw our attention in using the diagonal line without impacting the reflection of the mountain below, but i think that anchoring the scene on the right with the bright rocks in the water could really make this scene a winner |

// h o l i d a y //by DiScComment: the brightness of the light, the paleness of the blues in the water and sky, the narrow horizontal crop on the scene, the lack of a specific subject to draw us in - it gives this image an unfinished feel |

The Hunterby APComment: the use of wide angle and low perspective really gives this image a lot of life and energy |
