On our summer holiday to Spain there were a couple of palm trees on the beach in Marbella. We were lucky with the weather that day and had a great local lunch on the beach. Post-process ... exposure, selective color, curve, saturation, Noise Ninja and smart sharpening.

Pretty scene but the mid day lighting makes the image look flat, taking this shot early in the morning or late in the day would have made a huge difference.

Looks like a wonderful place for a vacation. This has a very pleasinf composition. If it was my photo, I might increase the contrast/saturation just a little bit.

the brightness of the light, the paleness of the blues in the water and sky, the narrow horizontal crop on the scene, the lack of a specific subject to draw us in - it gives this image an unfinished feel
