i had noticed this photograph before during the actual challenge and really liked it but didnt make a comment ... i love your composition and the wonderful expression on the horse's face and his posture, and the way his head is sort'v turning ... love your b&w treatment and the sign adds another excellent element to a great photograph ..

hi steve ... noticed in the thread that you're feeling the lack of shez's wonderful comments ... so i thought i'd come and see if you had anything worthy ....(altho having said that i feel that any photograph has something in it that you can make a positive comment about) ...
anyway .. this one caught my eye immediately, firstly coz its an amazing photograph and the suns rays are totally awesome, but also coz i have a shot of some sheep with a very similar feel .... yours is 100 times better tho ... yours is so much sharper and i think the cow has made a better photographic subject than my 9 idiots in the mist ....... ie sheep ....
i will now check out some more of your rather impressive photographs .. :)
