this is THE best shot .. i love all the shadows and that gorgeous colouring .. it reminds me of some enchanted garden or some place where a troll or some monster is going to jump out at you .. i love the stark sharp branches and the dead leaves .. this is excellent .. :)

yes you do sound stressed but i'm sure you're over it now?? .. absolutely love your square crop alicia it goes so well with your subject !!! .. lol lol .
& yeah, a square crop can be a total buggar, coz sometimes it just doesnt work .. i cheat some of the time and just totally rescale the image so that it becomes a square crop .. when its rescaled it's sometimes hard to tell that its been done if you dont compare it with the original .. it probably wouldnt work with this coz then the guy would look all fat and out'v proportion, altho he looks lean enough to handle it!!! ..
i'm glad you got your hole fixed .. ppl around here often go to the mall or the shopping centre on the worst hot days if they dont have air conditioning in their homes .. i'd go for a drive in my car before i got the air conditioner at home ... :)xx

i loved reading your story and great how your day totally turned around .. totally agree that 'walking on sunshine' is such a fantastic happy track ... great shot of the dogs best friend, is it a fire hydrant? ... it looks like it could've gone well in the personification challenge .. :):)
