great red hat shot!! ... those upside-down faces are really funny ... i hope you dont mind but i just had to see wot this would look like rotated ...

i reckon it needed the vignette to make it a bit confusing etc ...
you may think i should'v just turned my head upside down, but i reckon if you can do it in photoshop then why bother in real life !!!! ... check out this thread and you'll then see that i dont have a problem at all comparatively speaking ... you know you're spending too much time in dpc when ..
edit to say i forgot to add that you should've put the insect in anyway, i've been known to post more than one pic per day in our 50 day side ... :) .. of course the fact that i've done it makes it totally ok !!...lol lol ....

amazing shot .. the colours are so dramatic even without those yellow posts ... the dark ominous clouds contrasting with the amazing green lush grass and the brown looking paddocks ... and then those bright yellow posts ... an excellent photograph .. i can see this in a challenge doing really really well .. and no processing that's even more amazing .. :)

you're soooooo funny jon .. i'm sitting here laughing about your aircraft comment ... but i'm very willing to try and explain better ... as i said in the pm i didnt know your level of expertise, so it was difficult without that knowledge ... you tell me wot you didnt understand and i'll try and explain better ..
i know this probably isnt the place to say all this but i'm tired and wasnt even going to make any comments but saw this excellent combo, and your name, and just had to open it .. naturally after opening it i just had to comment .. its like a disease really eh? .. did you check out the thread you know you're spending too much time in dpc when ... .. its pretty funny ... the colours in this are just excellent and if this is your first attempt then the world is your oyster .. that is soooooo not the right expression, but as i said i'm tired .. but i'm sure you'd get the idea .. :)

i'd just posted my day 19 and my future step-son tim, phoned me up to ask me if i've ever got into photographing the stars or the moon etc .. i said not really .. anyway, he said i might be interested to hear that on the night of the 27th august there's gonna be a once in a lifetime event .. mars will be in our night sky really really huge and red & right next to the moon .. i live in australia, and as i'm writing this i'm not sure if this event is gonna be visible all around the world, but you could find out .. of course i just had to tell you after seeing this photograph of yours .. think i'll have to find a scene that would look excellent as a silhouette and get out there with the tripod ... i've got over a month to get it together ... !!:)

just love this shot .. love your write-up too OF COURSE !! .. you have a totally excellent brain .. anyway back to commenting on this fantastic photograph .. love the view .. i actually lived in london in another lifetime .. ie quite a few years ago .. this photograph brings back memories of that time .. hazy memories, but memories none the less ..... i love the two birds in that white sky .. another excellent element .. the tile things on the roofs have a great texture .. it looks so cold and dreary .. ali said in the three weeks she'd been in the british isles (is that the terminology?) that it had rained every day except for two of them ... spose the positive of that is you'd totally enjoy the 'good' weather and not take it for granted like we can do here in australia .. its not that 'good' right now tho .. if i went outside i'd be having trouble typing when i came in because of numb fingers.. !!!!!!! .. as you know !!!:)
