U N C L E S A M W A N T S U Vby posthumousComment: I agree with Catherine, I like the title. I also like that he is looking away from the frame, at something we can't see - it gives the photo some history and much interest. I also wonder how it would look like in colors? all those colorful stripes on his clothes and those balloons would probably have made the "messy", busy composition even more busy - and it's nice. there is something interesting and fascinating about the composition and so many things there at the same time. his expression and pose make that messy look even stronger - that's great! |

backspottingby silverfoxxComment: yes, I also wanted to explain about the tiny people. it was the idea of course, Olso is all lines, stone and glass, it's easy to get lost there and easy to loose someone. this photo is 100% candid, I was standing on that place 3 days trying to catch this - I knew I would, I had this in my head, I saw this, and then I finally saw them "live". I love this photo. |

Strolling along Shek-O, Hong Kongby krglComment: I love the colors and I disagree with the comments. it's easy to get lost in the cities like this one and it's extremely easy to get lost in Hong Kong. I love the tiny people - it's very close to life. it is indeed not very easy to see people and especially individuals in this atmosphere. I don't understand why everyone wnats people to be closer to the viewer:) |

Lunchby WildcardComment: extremely well captured, excellent colors, the scene is funny and very interesting, it maks me think a lot about why they are sitting there and further, further. absolutely great composition!! those red lines on the both sides and the umbrella - excellent. and that "band-aid" on one of the red columns is perfect in my opinion, it adds depth to the columns. the moment is great:) : those two girls on the baclground are on both sides of the woman's head!!
very very underrated photo:( |
