Nice composition. I think I saw some of these seedy things earlier, or something closely related to them. I want just a tiny bit more DOF so the closest one is in focus down to its tip.

No, but it must be sleeping since the arrows are all pointing to Zzzzzz's ;-) Looks vaguely electrical to me but that is hardly my area of expertise!

... when first we practice to deceive. And I wasn't even an English major ;-) I'm trying to remember where I've seen a paper lattice like that. Packing material, maybe? Anyway it looks like that. Enough dimension for shadows so it makes an interesting pattern.
