Rubber car carpet?
The lighting is good, it gives a nice contrast. Lacks a bit of interest, maybe one of the squares should be modified. |

| ... when first we practice to deceive. And I wasn't even an English major ;-) I'm trying to remember where I've seen a paper lattice like that. Packing material, maybe? Anyway it looks like that. Enough dimension for shadows so it makes an interesting pattern. |

| Nice repeating patterns. Looks like a plastic mesh flat on a dark surface. A mesh like an onion bag or pot scrubber. |
