Unfrozenby 'PongComment: bumping this to an 8. really like the composition...though I don't like the shadows much. very unique. good luck with it...could be a high placer. |

Self -Portraitby chelseayankieComment: why so sad, sunshine? the higher contrast really works...assuming you were trying to convey a sombre mood. the darkeness around your eyes looks very sad. resaturating the colours and flattening the contrast would change the mood entirely IMO.
nice. |

Ink For Lifeby byetkoComment: since you reference your ink inthe pic, I'd like to see it more highlighted. especially the one on the right...I keep wondering what it is. nice shot in any case. |

Imperfectby erin_m02Comment: says who? this could fit into all three challenges - SP, low key, and off centre. all those facets work for me. nice work. |

Shyby anirenoComment: I'd have colled it 'Crop' myself. :)
a little deeper DOF and make it all clear...the blur in the hands detracts I think, since you have your face and the wall crisp. If you use shallow depth of focus, I think either ONLY one part or all parts should be crisp. |

Anger Managementby ozdickComment: really contrasty, kinda nasty, and absolutely brilliant. perfect technicals for this kind of shot. I like. |

self portraitby mrhburComment: lovely pose. i only wish the light at the top wasn't there. the diffuse light is very powerful...methinks you spend more than a little time doing yoga. |

getting ready for the self-portrait shootby miss parkerComment: great idea. simple execution. if you're going to leave your eyes blue...really do it. I didn't notice the first time. mess with the hues a little in photoshop so they really stand out (as I suspect they do in real life. I'd like to see what yo originally thought you were going to submit before you found this one. :) |

Essence of Selfby mciComment: I've tried to drop this from 7 to 6 three times and can't do it. the thumbnail looks awful, but the pic is really quite nice. shows lots of character (what you really need are some good ol' scars - kidding). it will remain a 7 (which is in my top 10) |

my photo lensby giampoComment: unique presentation of a common idea (the 'just my eyes' thing). border works for me, as does the soft focus. |
