Caring Trumps Crueltyby BeeCeeComment: Is that a prosthetic beak? Aw......Lovely detail in this shot. Your lighting and your colors are wonderful. The composition makes this bird look very regal still, in spite of his obvious injury. Nice photojournalist capture!!! It tells so much more beyond just what is seen in the photograph and isn't that what photography is all about? A picture is worth 1000 words! Nicely done. |

goal goal goalby DonaldComment: What a fun capture. Nice job on the colors. Perhaps just a touch more contrast? |

Score one...by beckydiComment: That's right! Next time just a touch shallower DOF to maybe blur the picture wall a bit? I mean, next time he needs to do laundry! :P Love how the drink matches the candle, lol. |

"...call me."by BHusemanComment: Nice interpretation of the challenge. Perhaps bump your curves a touch to get a better tonal range on the black and white. I like the border also. |

Candylandby bobgaitherComment: Love the colors here. Looks just a tad blurry (not the water motion). I'm sure the wind had it's hand in that. Your colors are very pretty. Perhaps crop a bit off of the right to make this more on the rule of thirds? Just a thought. |

A "Wii" ACEby QuigleyComment: You can see the triumph and defeat here, lol. Your coloring is just a tad off. Might adjust the levels a bit to remove the blue hue (really obvious on the door.) |

"I...am...Kicking...the Ball!"by 777STANComment: Nice detail on the face. Your levels look a tad yellow and your light is a touch harsh in that the ball is blown out on the left and the top. Perhaps play with the contrast and bright just a tad? Nice stop action and yet it still shows movement in the hand and foot. Oh, the concentration! |
