Congrats on your huge step. A wonderful presentation type shot and a very lovely ring.

I like your selective desat work on this. great detail.

I don't understand the point of the selective desat here. The color in the upper right steals the viewer's attention from the main element of this picture.

Aw gee. Highlights on the diamonds would help immensely. Aren't they supposed to sparkle? Not a lot of thought in terms of preparing the composition or lighting here. Also, a ring on the finger would add a personal touch.

Don't like the frame here. Reminds me of early, bad web design. Shot is ok, composition is a bit flat.

I understand what you're wanting to get across, here, but the ring in the box doesn't quite evoke Triumph for me. The appearance of desaturation in the foreground vs the colorful background confuses me with regard to the challenge topic. How about one hand slipping the ring on the finger of the other? Perhaps that would have been too cliche'?

put two people in the background and you may have a picture you can sell to Shane Co. :)

Think the black and white is lovely, but am destracted by the colour in the background, it keeps drawing my eye away from the ring which is a shame.

Nice idea but looks a little flat and grey - I would want those whites to be crisp and bright but it all looks too grey - The sharpness looks a little off too. Nice idea though and the composition is interesting and good.
