Day 15 big crowsby thomaspeopleComment: They look like they might be made of audio tape or of shredded garbage bags. Whoever made these is quite an artist. Beautiful sky.
Happy anniversary, I hope you enjoyed your getaway! |

Day 24 of 50 - Infernoby krafty1Comment: Wow, that is some fire. Great photo. The shot is amazing, more artistic I think than photojournistic -- it's like an abstract painting, with the flames floating in a black void. I love the shape of the flames. It looks like a book cover.
PS: I hope whoever lived there is okay and that there losses were covered as much as can be expected. Message edited by author 2007-08-01 09:06:12. |

Day-31.jpgby KenComment: I'm really impressed with this photo. Really nice colors, both fore and aft, and good composition. But not just technically, I'm also impressed by your powers of observation -- and by the fact you run on your lunch hour! Seriously, I had no idea leaves began to change color at the end of July. I'm going to start looking for the first colored leaf, though in NYC I swear the leaves don't change color as much as they just turn brown. |

Day 30, Moon July 30thby jackal9Comment: Argh, I just accidentally deleted my long comment. As I was saying... Cool photo! How great that you found the converter and that it worked with your lens. I've never taken a photo like this, but I understand you have to shoot fairly quickly at this magnitude before the moon travels out of the frame. |

Stop the Car (Day 30)by karmatComment: One thing I like about this mini-challenge is that we tend to be more generous in our views and comments than we would be in a competitive challenge. So though I might not give this high points in the monthly Free Study, I think it's very good. I wish I could see more of the church in the shadow area, however, the landscape is dramatic and shows the interesting mix of nature and industry. The grain fits the image, too. Really cool photo overall. |

Day No. 30by GermaineComment: I know it probably doesn't really matter, but those shoes look dangerous. Good motion capture, and nice blues! |

Day 22 of 50 - Fernby krafty1Comment: Very cool how the leaves curl forward out of the focal plane (is that the right expression?). The texture and color of the leaves remind of steamed vegetable dumplings! |

31day4176by Pug-HComment: Beautiful sky color. Isn't it amazing how light changes depending on where you are, and when?
Of course, I thought "Harpo" immediately! |

day 31. 50 days square crop. katee stay, katee comeby rozComment: Really nice diptych, starting with the frame (well done!). I like how Katee is sharp in the first frame and slightly blurred in the second, which adds to the impression of speed -- and I'm sure that little pup moves very fast. |

Day 30 - The hand of Sunby bimbleComment: So *that's* what it looks like. I'm on the user end of one of these. Tell Jeroen not to worry, his fingernails are clean. :-) |
