 Day 31, self-portrait day

Not trying very hard, eh. When I chimped the other shots I thought they looked a bit serious, so I did a Gookie, a facial expression Harpo Marx did at least once in all the Marx Brothers' films. Eyes should be a bit more crossed, of course, and cheeks more puffed out. The kids in Japan love it, and they always say, "do it again"....

One thing that I notice that is different between Australia and Japan is the quality of the light and the colour of the sky - so much more clearer and and a deeper blue in Australia. (Mind you, I did't see much blue sky in June and July in Japan).
I think Van Gogh would have loved visiting both countries.

Beautiful sky color. Isn't it amazing how light changes depending on where you are, and when?

Of course, I thought "Harpo" immediately!
