1-jan 2011 each to his/her own. eye to eyeby rozComment: Nice photo. Your photo is worlds above the photo you linked to.
My first thought when I opened your photo was, "Well that's a funny lookin' squirrel!" I have to disagree with Kelli's statement about US possums being ugly. Our US possums can be pretty cute too so long as they're not angry. |

Serenityby theluissalesComment: Quite a bit of a sharpening halo on the boat. Overall has a nice feel though, and is well composed and exposed. |

Sudanese Princessby hotpastaComment: The heat in the orange on the right side is a great balance for her beautiful skin tones and brings out the subtle reds in her hair. I think I would have taken just a little of the yellows out of the "whites" of her eyes. I think making them completely white would look unnatural given the hues of the photo, but they do seem a touch too yellow. |

cookies and wineby GiorgioBaruffiComment: Excellent tones. The bright spot on the wall behind the bottle is great. The wall would have been very boring otherwise. Instead it serves a purpose and draws you in. |

Bridal Veilby daevansComment: It appears you pushed the overall saturation to get some pretty nice colors on your mossy rocks, but unfortunately since you did the whole image the blue in the water was drug along for the ride. The blues are way oversaturated.
I myself am pretty lazy when it comes to making selections, and don't do them enough, but this is a case where it would have been a must. |

Holiday Layer Cookieby dragonwarlord98Comment: Awesome looking cake!
Unfortunately the processing is very strange. If I were to guess it's almost like a high ISO shot with a little bit of motion blur to boot, and you tried to cover that up somehow. Or you tried to add a texture. I'm not sure what it is you did, but I don't see how the processing added anything. |

Wavesby mqnaufalComment: The exposure control is great here. You very easily could have faded to black at the bottom, and you very easily could have faded to white at the top, but you didn't. Both areas have just enough detail to intrigue the viewer. |

Barkby overboardComment: I think I would have preferred this sharper, but I can definitely appreciate the feel and colors of this. It would be great on a wall of someone who appreciates nature, but still digs a modern abstract feel. Very nice overall. |
