IRISES - Day 6 by sherpetComment: Something about this makes me want to curl up inside the flower and take a nap. A very soothing abstract. |

Dripping Dahlia.jpgby drydocComment: Okay... creepy! I really like the grey gradient background against the deep red. This one could actually pull off the centered composition if you ditched the green leaves in the background.
Very, very cool. |

Bumble on Foxgloveby banmornComment: Hm... I think I like it. I think I like it a lot. Your processing really brings out some very interesting textures and shadows. |

3628.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I hate photographing reds, yellows... and whites in direct sun! They tend to get hot and start glowing. It makes it nearly impossible to focus. I think that's what's happening here with this photo. I think you probably were focused pretty well, but that evil glow makes it look like you're not.
I hope you get some clouds soon! |

300_5265Day5.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Great natural light. I love the little *ting* star on the handle of the pot. That baby blue goes great with the yellows. |

Day-4.jpgby smichenerComment: This is a good solid photo. Red paired with black and white are classics that you can't go wrong with.
The open flower is begging for attention, but it looks like your right flower got the focus. It's always so hard to pick which beauty to focus on! |

Look Who's Eating the Daylily!by MaryOComment: You forgot to bump the contrast. I tried it with this image and holy cow... go try! The colors are awesome and the detail pops right out.
He's definitely got the cutest expression of guilt on his face. He's lucky you're a photographer and can appreciate that. |

3-august 08 flowers. a beeby rozComment: I'll be honest, I don't like the blurred border. I think it overwhelms the shot and I barely notice the bee.
The bee looks like it's looking into a mirror actually. It's interesting how the shape of his head matches the shape of the flower he's indulging in. |
