Homegrown Pencilsby xertionComment: Don't they do better when you plant them in the Spring time? :-) You may want to thin them out a bit or you may end up with a forest. |

The death of anxietyby MelGrahmComment: I can see the headline now "Another Victem of dpChallenge Excessive Compulsive Disorder". ;-o I feel the b/w works well for this photo and the composition is good. Did you intend the soft image, in my opinion this tragic theme would benifitt from the harsh feel that a little unsharp mask would provide. |

pencil distortionby shutterflyComment: I like it, I like it a lot! Only one small thing is the glair center left that detracts a bit. Still one of my top picke this week. |

The Force Be With Youby karmatComment: This is the third time I have looked at this image, the thumbnail gets my attention with the blue bag. Then I see thge full size image I get lost in all the details, maybe a tighter crop and a slightly different angle to just focus on the child and the word 'SCHOOL' and a bit of the front door handle. Still one of my top ten picks this week. |

6 Daysby amonteforteComment: I don't normaly rate baby pictures high because they are normaly snapshots. But you have captured the intamacy between mother and child in a technicaly supurb photograph. One of my nines for this week. |

New Life or New Omelette?by annelizabethComment: I have looked at this photograph several times now considering if I should give it a higher score. Then I saw the title and felt it was trying to save the picture and changed my mind, sorry. |

Needful Thingsby jmsetzlerComment: You have been reading too much Steven King. I see good technical, sharp focus, good exposure and color, but the composition and subject do nithing for me. maybe if he was reflecting a video game screen or something more interesting than a mass merchandizing store's logo. |

fawnby KrazyKatComment: I think you are going to take a knocking on this image because of the busy background distracting from the subject. In my opinion you have captured this fawn in its natural setting with good technical skill and composition. One of my top ten picks this week. |
