Great shot. Nice sharp photo. Would have been better if you had caught him swinging the bat or walking away from the plate. But this is a very good photo technically.

I really like the concept here. A failed musician. It sucks that you can't spot check because if you could eliminate blue from everything else except his jacket, this photo would have been exceptional.

Technically: Great focus on the calipers. Very sharp image. The numbers on the adjustable arm are slightly bright, but doesn't really take away from the photo at all.

Challenge wise: the title lead me to believe you were looking to measure a diamond (or some form of sucess), but couldn't really find anything, and that was your failure?
