I added this as a favorite a while ago and every time I turn to my favorites my eyes go straight to this one and I smile. This is a picture that really grows on you. Something that would look great on the wall!

35lb King!

Yes... we ended up with a lot of King. I used a bunch of it for a fish fry on a Boy Scout camping trip last.

At this site, we caught 6 and released 2 kings on the Sunday. On Monday morning we caught 2 kings and numerous ling (or cobia) but only one ling was of legal size.

Fun trip. We fished this oil rig earlier in the summer and caught a ton of sharks and kings (limits). While fishing a 7-8 ft hammerhead shark rolled up beside the boat and hung around. So I rigged up a line with one of the fish we caught and tossed it in.... he took it. We fought the shark for 30-40 minutes and even got it to the side of the boat but he spit out the bait. We didn't have big enough hooks.
