This is a candid shot taken at Zilker Park in Austin when we were there for our San Antonio/Austin Get-together. Deb (Melethia) taught me some really cool editing tricks that she learned from BearMusic about adding a sepia layer and adjusting the opacity so just a little of the color shows thru. I love the effect, so thanks Deb, and thanks BearMusic. . .your incredible knowledge is spreading far and wide :)

Wow! No 1's, 2's, or 3's? That must be some kind of record!

Fine work!

Good catch. I never really noticed this girl all the while we were there. I remember Deb talking about the sepia layer - I'm glad you explained it here. It's very helpful to me when people explain something about a photo, such as how they achieved a particular effect or what they were thinking when they took it.

Congratulations on yet another great challenge entry, Sandy! I love the toning. It's so subtle and sweet, and matches the mood of the composition really well. Thanks for explaining how you did it! Now I have something new to try. You always write the best photog's comments, Sandi. You're a big help to many of us.

this is a nice photo without a face and a lot of substance to boot. You have a person a child doing something I guess taking a pictuere with a lot of substancial background its a good scene.

This is a great shot... not sure what she has in her hand but, a disposable camera might have been cute with "budding photographer" as the title. Anyway I love it. You got a high score from me.
