Winter Breakby crabappl3Comment: Great composition but I would like it a lot lighter, to see the colors of the bird, and his beauty contrasted against the cold sky. Still would give it a 6. PTL |

Faithby arnitComment: What a shame the 2 adults are behind the children. The looks on the faces of the children at Santa, plus those in line, are tops. The awe in the face of the little girls in red can't be expressed in words. You titled it correctly. Wonderful job. Would be an 8 from me. PTL |

Pleasant Runby muckpondComment: Beautiful reflections. They are actually prettier than the real things. I sound like a broken record - should have been in color, would have added 2 more points and would make a beautiful painting on the wall. Again, the reflections make it. A 7 from me in B&W. PTL |

Winter Streamby alanfreedComment: This is wonderful. You have 3 things that really make it a photo and not just a picture. 1. The snow on the ground. 2. the curve in the creek. and 3. the tree laying across the creek. These three things add so much to the shot. If you could only have had a little sky. Don't want much do I? It's an 8 in my book. PTL |

Takin' it Easyby rll07Comment: B&W did not do this horse justice. It is a beautiful photo and horse and should have been in color to contrast his white against the setting. I do like the nice tight crop, brings out the face so beautifully. I also like the softness to the photo - to me it adds at least 2 points. Color would have added 2 more points. The face is so serene, peaceful, and gentle looking. Awesome job. I'd give it a 7 - 9 if in color. PTL |

Summer Homeby boyte1Comment: Dangerous getting high enough to photograph into this home. But you did a great job. This photo technically has it right plus to me it has interest and appeal. Wonder what kind of bird lived there, where is he/she now, how many babies did they have? Good photojournal shot in my opinion also. Should do well in this challenge. I'd give it an 8. PTL |

Frozen in the Mudby inspzilComment: Dig him up and thaw him out - he might live. This is vry unique and comes through very clearly with the exception of all of his left legs. But I can definitely tell what it is, or isn't anymore. I like it but don't think it will do well here. To me it's an 8. PTL |

Catch me if you can?by MorganComment: This a a most beautiful bird. Is he yours? I hope you have a photo of all of him. The focus is sharp and the colors are so deep. I love the background out of focus. All your attention is on the bird himself. Those eyes, excuse me, that eye is beautiful. This should place or these people are crazy. Fantastic photo! |

dracpalaby PericoComment: Great action shot. Dredging the channel? I love the depth to your photo with the land on the other side and the close up of the machinery. The color of the machinery is great. Maybe taken from another angle we could see the boat behind better, which would get rid of the distracting dark spot on the left side. But the mud mixed with water flowing out of the bucket is just great. I'll give it an 8. PTL |

My "Business" Suit for Dry Climatesby jimmyn4Comment: I have great respect for you, your photo, and your occupation. You have two of my sons with you. What an awesome idea of a way to display the uniform. The texture is fantastic. I love this cropping, the lighting, the composition. You lost your focus a little at the bottom, but not enough to hurt anything - emotions did not distract my critique. God bless you and God bless America. This is worth a 10. PTL |
