I'm wondering if this shot would have been stronger without the tower. It also appears that you shot this through a window. That being the case, it threw a reflection at the top center of the picture. Adjustments to the contrast might have made the foreground clouds pop of the page and give a nice contrast to the brightness of the sun.

Good concept. The reflected light in the back and the curtain not being all the way across the back, breaks the continuity of the shot. I think the DOF is appropriate for this photo, but I feel some post processing sharpening could have brought out the texture in the stockings better.

I'm sorry, but this photo doesn't envoke any emotion from me. All I see as a fuzzy crecent on a black background. I have sat here looking at it from an artistic eye, and although I can grasp the concept in relation to the title, I think a full green moon would have made a stronger impact. Unfortunately, we didn't have a full moon last week.

Good closeup. There appears to be some over sharpening around the bird as well as noise in the background. The composition is good, I'd like to see the red enhanced a little more so the bird's chest and head really jump off the screen.

As I step back, I can see that by your use of this crop with the changing of the hues, you are taking a common subject matter and giving it an artistic flair. It's an interesting shot that I could see being hung in a loft overlooking Cental Park in NYC.

Although this is technically a nice picture, the amount of activity going on in it is a bit distracting. The layout of the knives is good, but your highlights on them are a bit blown out. I was going to ask why you have both on there, and then I realized these are the swords the characters in the print are using.
