Day-09.jpgby KenComment: So does your username pertain to the coffee brewing or do you brew other things as well? I've seen coffee roasters and that seems like a fun thing to do, but I'm too much into instant gratification to do it myself.
The photo is very cool - wonderful macro and good depth. Colors are beautiful - good job! |

Day-8-band.jpgby jonfrommkComment: Fantastic action shot, Jon! Great atmosphere in the photo. Application of a bit of levels really makes it pop more. Give it a try (from the big expert over here...) |

Day 8 - Silver Hairby jonfrommkComment: What a doll! Great smile you captured there. She looks like she's having a blast. Also looks like she's growing up faster than you like. First we can't wait to get older and then we start backpeddling and trying to get younger again. I guess the grass is always greener... |

Day 9 Guitar Lessonby jonfrommkComment: Wonderful background story, Jon. You ARE quite the gentleman if you think the teacher looks like she's 18. I'm sure women love you to pieces for being so delightfully eye-impaired. :oD
This is the best photo I think I've seen of yours. The composition is beautiful, the colors are clear and perfect, as is the focus. Very, very good!!! |

Day 8: A Chunk of Sunsetby cginoComment: Woah - another one! Gorgeous! Love the rays and the colors. I should get off my butt and take some sunset photos. Every night there's a spectacle outside my balcony. |

Day 9 - Shades of Greyby BudComment: Wonderful detail. I like the crop, which focuses on the innards - so to speak. :o) I'd try it with a white frame, perhaps. To me, the black looks a little heavy.
Loved your story - I was so there. |
