 Got to the shop a little early today & was playing with Rusty when I remembered I had stuck his mouse in the bag of catnip. SO, of course for my entertainment I got it out & watched him attack it. Always a good way to start the morning!

Haha, my old cat used to get that crazed look, too, with the ears going back -- too funny. Can he get his day's work done if he does catnip in the morning? ;-)

Ours cats go nuts over the stuff. I planted some catnip in the garden and it tries to take over every year. They sometimes like it fresh but dry is best. This year we're giving away 4 huge bags of the stuff. Great capture of the cat - I think I might have to get some shots of ours here.

He's got crazy eyes! Rusty really gets into that catnip thing, doesn't he? My cat doesn't really care much for it, gives him the munchies.

Nice - Kitty on speed. Love that crazed look. I have to get some catnip for my babies, too. That might spark them into some action.

Oh, now THAT'S a happy kitty! Everything about this is precious -- the wild eyes, the flattened ears, the paws clutching the evil catnip toy -- the scene is enhanced by the b&w... Rusty gets full marks for emoting while you take the cake for a fantastic shot!! :-)

Did I mention that I LOVE this shot????
