OMG Deb - this is yours! I got the biggest kick out of this photo - just love it to pieces. I figured it wouldn't score well, because really interesting photos rarely do. But you sure had my 9 for this gem. Just a few days ago I was driving down the road thinking about this very photo and it made me laugh again. I'm going to fav it.

Charlene - this is very cool. What a good idea. It gives a sense of sudden abandonment. Maybe they were snatched up by aliens? Or worse? The BW and intense contrast add to the feel of this image. I think it's brilliant.

Actually, I find the perspective different and refreshing. Not that there's anything wrong being eye-to-eye with a swan, but this is a twist on the usual swan photos. Love your composition, too.
