I love your comments on this image! Words to live by, indeed. I've been bitten by all of those things at one time or another. I have the scores to prove it, too. ;-) |

ETA lets add the "eyes" challenge to that list, nothing liking having 3 update buttons you dont want to hit!

I think we both suffered from too many swans in the challenge. This is a great photo with the splashing water, the reflections and the wonderful colors from that swan. |

Well, your post voting comments mades me laugh...good advice which I would do well to remember myself on occasion.
I guess its reassuring for someone like me to know that even great photographers can have their off shots. The funny thing is that this is nearly a great shot, I loved the suspended water coming off the ducks body. Strangely I actually prefer it on some levels to your outtake, which although technically is a better shot and I am sure would have scored higher feels like a very safe option, this however was an image that felt a lot more challenging

LOL!! Love your commentary. In a few months this will all be forgotten. I really don't think it's half bad, in a quirky kind of way. OX |

Good capture of the water drops, the colours are kind of neat too. |

I think that the picture quality has made the composition seem less strong..I like the effect on the water though |

The impression I get from this is a night club performer - don't ask me why. Maybe the low light (which I like here) or the gold and red in the water that "sets the stage". |

Nice freeze action shot. Good colors and saturation, but the contrast seems a bit high. |

Nice capture, but looks like you did not have enough light to use this fast of a shutter speed |

Cropped to close to see the results of the shaking. |

I like that you were trying to capture the action. I wish there had been a little more light for you in this shot, there is some noise in his wings. |
