Day_22_Iceby ApertureAshleyComment: Wow - that's amazing. I actually like that faint green shining through all the frost and ice. Beautiful how the light catches in the ice covering the branches. |

factory4.jpgby icu1965Comment: It's all industrial and very clean looking at the same time - probably due to all the snow. Nice shot. |

North Lightby GermaineComment: Just beautiful. The little bursts of color - the turquoise in the back and the red of the vase, and of course the yellow of the flowers - just brilliant. Well seen! |

day 17. feb 08. slice of life. a beeby rozComment: So pretty, Roz!
Whenever I try to take a closeup of something, a wind comes along and waves the flower or bug around so I get nothing but blur trails. So good for you that you managed to get this in focus despite the movement.
You don't have bumble bees? They aren't actual bees and they make a helluva racket, like a WW I fighter plane.
Here in Phoenix we don't have them, but we have June Bugs, which are all black and lumber through the air like they just smoked a big doobie. |

Day 21 - Trainsby KenComment: I love how the colors turned out on this - very painterly overall.
My dad was a locomotive engineer before he became an opera singer (I'm serious) and when we still lived in the US, he'd take me up in the locomotive sometimes. Somehow, in my subconscious mind, those must have been the best times of my childhood. Consequently I'm crazy about trains and I get excited when I hear one, or when I see a photo like this. You saying you have trains everywhere made me salivate - I would love that. |
