Decided to take more pictures of The Hutchinson Mansion while I was waiting for Taylor to come out of ballet. It was brighter out so I knew I could get more detail in my picture. I wanted to go for a softer less creepy feel.

Amazing when you take the spooky out of the photo. Incredible shot and the brick colors really warm this winter scene right up.

Wonderful. I have a soft spot for nature/building shots to begin with and this is an excellent example. Is there a touch of LucasArt in there?

Yes, definitely not the ghost mansion any more.

Beautiful shot, Amanda - very post card-esque. Lovely colors.

Definitely looks much different to the other shot. I like the detail you have captured in the tree. It's really a very impressive tree. Definitely not creepy this time.

This looks completely different than your previous photo of this house. Just enjoying the red colors and that beautiful tree with snow.

Your getting some great mileage out of this old place. We're lucky your taking these in winter. We'll never see the place come spring. Love these great old trees and their gnarled branches.

lovely old mansion and the PP suits it. the tree adds a spooky feel, but competes some with the lovely building in this POV
the fence, the driveway with snow, all the detials in the image..all really great

Like the processing. The house is impressive but the tree really makes the image. It still has a creepy feel to it with the bare branches. I think you should do a seasons series of this.

I think you've achieved both here; it looks soft and yet that still retains a bit of the scary look. Good job getting the detail out of the brick and branches.

Beautiful shot. Nice processing. I love the bare branches on so many of the trees around your place. They give so much character to the surroundings.
