Another storybook come to life as we open the novel and turn the pages that conjures up the picture of the daily lives of these women. Wonderful processing that just compliments the photos.

Very dark and moody feel to this composition. The grit of the city street at night is felt strongly and there is an air of menace; something waits in the shadows such that it compels us to quicken our step. I see the shadow but placing myself in the scene I wonder if it is imagination getting the better of me or ::looks over shoulder:: is it really there.

Love what the overlay does to the photo for it gives it a painterly effect - with wide brush dabs in some areas to give it some built up texture. Love the reflection of the mission in the fountain - great compositional elements in the photo too that are very pleasing to the eye.

Basil in the window

I like the texture for it gives it a otherworldly golden glow. Early morning light that baths all things before they awaken. Love how your eye for capturing the everyday and making it unique captured this basil plant on the window still while it looks on with perhaps wistful longing to be like the majestic tall trees outside.

The Cat's Meow Lounge - where any cat, alley or sophisticated, can climb on the perch and mew out a tune. Love the musical overlays for it compliments the action of the cat meowing. We see the tune to hear the tune.

Love the treatment texture for it makes me feel like I am looking through a cabin window. The window glass has gotten grime and yellowed over the ages. It is morning and fog is still on the ground - this is the view that greets us when we look outside (after a cup of hot coffee:-) )

I think the warm tones of the falcon definately pop more visually off of the cool blue tones of the sky. Giving us a closer look at the falcon also shows off some of the beautiful detail in the feathers and body of the bird. The cool tones of the sky also work better in that there is a more stronger connection to the ideas of 'blue yonder' and 'realm of the wide blue sky'.

What gorgeous textures!!! Love the earthy grain as well as the lovely warm brown and yellow hues in this composition. To me the flowers are growing off the side of a pockmarked tree in a forest bathed in warm light.

Love the leading lines in this composition in which the eye naturally travels up with the travelers on the escalator. The subtle addition of the butterflies in the overlay layer makes me think that the very air on our upward journey is light and springlike.

I Love what this overlay does to the photos...as it did with your "Kids" composition I feel that this is another storybook where the main character is a girl. We dive into the pages of the book that begins with her life as child that we will then follow as the story progresses.
