So I have the original, with no overlay I was submitting for my other side challenge, then I put the overlay on for my layered side challenge, and liked it so much better I decided to enter this one for both.

Here is the original:

Love the treatment texture for it makes me feel like I am looking through a cabin window. The window glass has gotten grime and yellowed over the ages. It is morning and fog is still on the ground - this is the view that greets us when we look outside (after a cup of hot coffee:-) )

Beautiful old-worldly feel to it. One's blood preassure drops just by looking.

So many beautiful elements on this picture, completed with a nice overlay.

Very nice, like a painting on a piece of wood.

There is still the magical glow of the sun from behind the mountain, & the original colors are showing thru. Makes me think of treasure maps.

Like a painting that got left out in the rain before it had a chance to dry! Awesome!

If you don't live near fog, then dang it, overlay some! Great effect. Giving me some ideas...

this works so well for me, great. The cottage almost looks like a toy.

Oh so nice. Something wild west feeling. I love that out building, almost obscured by the "fog." Maybe there is a horseman or a roaming herd of cattle just beyond the frame. :)

I love this! A beautiful scene, the tree against the snowy mountain... love it with and without the overlay.
