Love what the overlay does to the photo for it gives it a painterly effect - with wide brush dabs in some areas to give it some built up texture. Love the reflection of the mission in the fountain - great compositional elements in the photo too that are very pleasing to the eye.

Holy Canoli!! Truly a painting if I've ever seen one. Something about the textures and that bit of overall warmth. Oil paintings are said to look better when left in the sun for a while (really) and this certainly has that ripened to perfection feel.
