I like the composition of elements. The horse in the foreground is my ride as I approach it. As the observer, I will then ride the horse to explore the rolling hills and scenery in the background of your composition. My only wish is that the full body of horse was in the shot to further strengthen the feeling of a ride through this beautiful scenery.

O.K. I'm glad I not the only one who saw the trees as giant legs - but I will go further because I looked at the thumbnail and instantly thought of the pair of giant legs that walks by on the screen in Star Wars: A New Hope ( when Ben and Luke are in Mos Eisley ...I think after he sells his landspeeder to be specific). The tree 'legs' really stand out more in the B/W version (as well as some great textures). If there is ever another "Frame" challenge this would be a prime site to return to.

The painterly 'effect' softens the picture and so doing you feel the soft spring breeze that plays upon the leaves of the trees. This really invokes the feel and beauty of spring. Not sure I like the border with the painterly version - I rather like the feel of the freedom of a wide expanse of the woods without the enclosing border.

Well even at F4.5 you still have some nice details on the landscape especially on the smaller building that has a retro look design (white and blue on the windows). River looks nice and serene and those trees have some wonderful shade to have a picnic under:-) ....hmmm, I wonder how this would look in a dynamic range B&W -

Clouds are very menacing in this shot and is quite a contrast to the golden fields below. Mother nature certainly can show off her destructive beauty - twisters are certainly an awe inspiring site best viewed from far, far, away:-)

Holy moly! There is so much detail we are missing from the 4 foot print I am sure, but the smaller version posted here shows off the beauty of the place. Love the reflections on the lake and the mountainous region in the backdrop.

I LOVE how creative this is! Great idea to cut the carrots into slices so it does look more like the trunk of a palm tree. And the Bell peppers! Never would have thought of shaping them to look like the tops of palm trees. Potato 'islands':-) That little ducky is sitting pretty in the hammock:-) Love the imagination and the way you put this scene all together. Hope to see this in the top 5!

Came back to bump up - 10. I LOVE all the creative details in this shot! From the candy fish to the broccoli trees to the sewing spool reel to the outfit on the rubber ducky (it's very hard to dress a duck ). Great creativity and wonderful lighting in this scene. Definately top 5!

Creative use of props! Book light as hospital light, two different sized peppers for mom & baby....and...and the string...it's the UMBILICAL cord! I like the imaginative and creative set-up in your scene. Very well done.

Great lighting and love your set-up...only thing that is missing is the bowl to solidify the idea of soup as that it looks more like this ducky is being roasted over a spit to create roasted duck. That aside your props, lighting and details are well done (love the capture of smoke included in the shot). Definitely will see this in the top 20 methinks.
