The Trinity River with the outskirts of downtown Fort Worth on the banks.

Added: Well, I just noticed one of my problems with this. I shot it at F4.5. Ack! I think I pay much better attention to such things now.

Lovely reflections. Clear, detailed landscape. And I did not even know that 4.5 is not the best apperture for landscapes. Hmm... interesting things you pick up by reading these posts. Great way to learn.

I like your composition and what you've done with things here. The scene itself, though, I'm not too enamored with. It seems like it's caught in a nether region between a cityscape and a landscape. To me, perhaps if the scene was more starkly contrasting between elements in the landscape it would be stronger, or more unified in concept.

Looks like you still managed to pull pretty good clarity despite the aperture. Can't wait to try out this lens!

Thanks. I tried it in b/w using Silver Efex and could not get something I liked.

Well even at F4.5 you still have some nice details on the landscape especially on the smaller building that has a retro look design (white and blue on the windows). River looks nice and serene and those trees have some wonderful shade to have a picnic under:-) ....hmmm, I wonder how this would look in a dynamic range B&W -

You did a nice editing job, making the sky blue again. Nice view of the environment.

I like the impressive looking buildings and their smooth reflections in the river - it must flow very placidly.

Are those "live oaks" along the banks of the river? I like the haziness in the sky... I can almost feel the humidity...

edit to add.. I like the crop of this image much better than the original as well.
