The painterly 'effect' softens the picture and so doing you feel the soft spring breeze that plays upon the leaves of the trees. This really invokes the feel and beauty of spring. Not sure I like the border with the painterly version - I rather like the feel of the freedom of a wide expanse of the woods without the enclosing border. |

Agreed- the painterly effect really does work well for this. The blurring of the grass bottom left is a bit noticeable though, and seems a bit unnatural since the other grass has a bit of texture to it.
This is a minor issue though. |

I love the way the fence intertwines with the trees. Very fun processing almost looks like a painting. |
